A unique Christmas market in Alsace
The Ribeauvillé Christmas Market is one of the most immersive in Alsace, plunging visitors into a truly medieval atmosphere in the decorated streets of this charming wine-growing town. Animated by troubadours, dancers, fire-eaters, and costumed characters, it offers a unique immersive experience featuring period craftsmen, traditional foods, and mulled wines served in a warm and welcoming setting. Between its beautifully illuminated half-timbered houses, themed stalls, and historical performances, Ribeauvillé offers an authentic and enchanting market that appeals to both families and lovers of Alsatian traditions.

The Ribeauvillé Christmas Market offers a magical program blending medieval times with the enchantment of Christmas:

- Shows and musical entertainment (“La Caravane des Illuminées Avertis”, “Les Felfes d’Art’Thémis” – stilt creatures)

When does the Ribeauvillé Christmas Market start?
The Christmas market starts on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
When does it end?
The market ends on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
Where does it take place?
The Christmas market is located in the historic center of Ribeauvillé, along the Grand’Rue.
Where to park?
Several parking areas are available in the town: please refer to the Christmas market program (link in the previous paragraph).
Please note: parking spaces are very limited due to the large number of visitors expected each weekend. We strongly recommend using:
- Park-and-ride shuttles (€10 parking): departing from the Cordon-Schmidt company car park, 22 Route de Colmar in Bergheim, near exit no. 20 of the A35
- Christmas shuttles (paid): serving the towns of Colmar, Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, and Kaysersberg
